Solar energy works by using solar panels, which contain PV cells made of semiconductor materials like silicon. When sunlight shines on the PV cells, they absorb photons from the sun, which generates an electrical current. This electrical current is in the form of DC (direct current) electricity. However, most homes and businesses use AC (alternating current) electricity. So, a solar inverter is used to convert the DC electricity produced by the PV cells into the AC electricity that can be used by your home or business. Check out our
